Physical Description		At 5'5", Jillian is rather slender but in well built muscular shape. Her definition isn't exactly defined, but she keeps herself in better shape than she would expect for any subordinate.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Jillian is quiet and always tries to be aware of her surroundings. She is quick to a temper if provoked, but with such an explosive temperament she is also quick to calm down if it were to explode. She mostly keeps to herself, and enjoys a small circle of friends and likes to keep her acquaintances limited to a select few that she's willing to trust with more intimate details of herself.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Jillian is strongly distrusting of new people she meets. It is a trait that has helped and hurt her career over the years. Her slight ability to read the emotions of others doesn't help this weakness, and it is something she isn't ashamed to let people know if she reads some dishonesty in their speech. She never met her Betazoid mother, and hasn't experienced much of the Betazoid culture until she joined Starfleet and spent time on the planet. Jillian longs to know that part of herself, and has long ago come to peace with both sides of the mixed heritage and studies as often as she can about her estranged culture. Jillian also has a fondness for a woman that lives on Betazed, and they maintain long-range communication between one another. It is said that this woman is the only person outside her father that Jillian truly trusts.
Ambitions		Jillian has her eye on the potential to command one day, but that day is long ahead of her and she's not terribly worried about the present situation. She likes to do her job to the best of her ability and better herself through secondary education.
Hobbies & Interests		Jillian enjoys reading and experiencing things of her Betazoid heritage that she missed while growing up. She has numerous holosuite programs that help her to understand that part of her heritage. She is working on a book series, as a avid reader of fictional works of several cultures he is namely fond of detective works, and the Klingon works of bravery and warrior culture stories. Her book collection in her quarters is rather extensive, as she loves the feel of paper and reading words on a page rather than a PADD or hearing it through a computer. Though she isn't typically fond of participating in the holodeck perceptions of her favorite novels, she sometimes isn't above pretending himself to be a female variant of Phillip Marlowe or Sam Spade in the stories she knows so well.

Personal History		Just over thirty years old, Jillian is at a point in her life where she sees the next phase of his career starting to open to her. She's ensured that her roles within Starfleet have been varied enough and allowed for enough room to have small areas of command responsibility in hopes to one day get her invitation to command school. She’s housed orders on Betazed after the Dominion Occupation, and fought on the war as a crew member on five different ships, as she was always being shifted around after finding too many of his ships too badly damaged to continue fighting in multiple engagements. Jillian started her career with moderately good marks from Starfleet academy, yet she has continuously set out to improve upon that graduating score with following up with a Master's Degree from the Academy. Her studies on Federation Law are nearly complete, though she has no desire to become a lawyer, the law itself is something of vast importance and interest to her. The USS Mercury is the fifth ship she's served on in her varied career, she's also served on Deep Space 4.
